Loved the location, right on the beach and it was so close to town, but you did not feel it was. The garden rooms were awesome and so charming...it felt like staying in a jungle..The natural landscaping and the way it was lit at night was gorgeous. .Loved that most guests were from another country and not from the US. Enjoyed sailing, diving and paddleboarding right right there. Enjoyed having a pool that you could do laps in, a work-out facility and pingpong/billard table. It was very peaceful.
It was quit and had and the balcony was great.
The room are starting to get old and need rebuildning.
The hotel has - Very good location; excellent design of rooms; excellent breakfast; very good natural setting
maintenance of the rooms was less than good: blinds; lamps; sink-plugs not in good working order
Photos of rooms do not correspond with reality. Bungalows in need of cosmetic repair.
Location next to the beach and close to the restaurants and bars on 5th Avenue. It has well kept and delightful jungle gardens plus its own bar, restaurant, shop etc.
Rooms are basic and bathrooms not functioning properly. Staffed super aggressive and poor in general.
The organization of the individual rooms..the locations of the common spaces..the beach and beach bar.. The quietness of the place, ideal for families despite the Mamitas Beach noise wich did quiet down at night Breakfast was excellent
The food at midday and at night was very bad and expensive. We were staying in room 23 which is very badly tipped to one side.
The location and the staff were super! 5 Star Staff!! Will come back. Heated pool would be good for winter time visits though. Other than that, no problems.
Great location. Friendly staff. Vey cosy inveronment with all the green plants and nice flowers. Relaxing feeling.
Bad communication between reception and cleaning department, we asked (and asked again) for more towels and some glasses (only got 2 although that we were 4 people living in the room).
Excellent location beach front, really close to 5th avenue and all restaurants and shops. The hotel is surrounded by beautiful nature. Good breakfast, although it could be more varied. Staff is kind and most of the time efficient
Really poor room cleaning, be surrounded by nature doesn't mean you have to find cockroaches in the room every day!! Better bring your own mosquito repellents
Location of the hotel and the beach. Overall a nice stay.
Wifi connection does not work 90% of the time and food in the beach restaurant is pretty horrible.
the cabanas are very nice.the retaurant staff is so amazing and the included breakfast was fabulous
The staff at reception is not welcoming or profssional.I asked to see the bungalow first before I agreed to take t and it smelled like urine in there. They said it was normal because of the rain..I refused to take it and asked for another cabana. They have attitude.
We like everything. It was a great vacation week. We recommend it 100 % to everybody that wants to have a real peaceful, enjoyable, fun and great week at the most beautiful beach at Playa del Carmen.
The price you quoted me did not include tax which meant I had to pay an extra $200+ which was an unpleasant surprise
It's an oasis in the middle of town. Beach front property, easy walk to all the restaurants and shopping.
The bed was hard.
